California Public Records Act · Gov. Code § 7922.535

Ten days to answer.
One place to do it.

The request desk built around the statutory clock. Every request logged the minute it arrives, routed to a named owner, and answered before the tenth day — with the whole record kept for you.

10days to make a determination
+14days when circumstances are unusual
0requests that can quietly fall off a spreadsheet
1audit trail, exportable, per request
Public buildings are built to be walked into. So is the record.

What the console does

01

The clock runs itself

A request is timestamped on arrival and the ten-day determination deadline is set from that stamp. The queue sorts by what is closest to running out. A fourteen-day extension is two clicks and it writes its own justification into the record.

02

Route it once

Assign a department and a named person. Nobody owns a request by implication. The queue shows unassigned first because an unassigned request is the only kind that reliably goes late.

03

One place for the record

Request text, correspondence, the determination and the released files sit on one page in one order. When someone asks what happened on a request from two years ago, you open it and read.

Plans

Plans sized to your records office

Every plan includes unlimited requests and requesters, your agency's own portal address and branding, letter templates, deadline reminders, and the full audit trail. Seats are for staff: reviewers decide and release, custodians search and upload.
